NCT ID NCT06855732
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tests whether a 12-week Pain Self-Management (PSM) program helps people with chronic pain and opioid misuse or opioid use disorder (OUD) manage pain better and stay engaged in their OUD treatment. About 204 adults from primary care clinics will either take part in PSM or receive standard care, then complete surveys over 9 months. The goal is to see if learning pain coping skills can improve both pain and treatment outcomes.
