First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether two 90-minute pain science education sessions can help 54 adults with fibromyalgia living in rural Spain. The sessions aim to change how patients think about pain, using simple language and metaphors. Researchers will measure pain sensitivity, daily function, and emotional well-being before, right after, and three months later.

What this could lead to

If it works, this could offer a simple, drug-free way to help people with fibromyalgia feel less pain and improve daily life.
