Ear needles may ease fibromyalgia pain and steady nerves

Summary

This study looks at whether semi-permanent ear acupuncture can help women with fibromyalgia feel less pain and improve how their nervous system works. Thirty women aged 35 to 64 will get weekly treatments for five weeks. Researchers will measure pain sensitivity and heart rate changes to see if the acupuncture helps.
