First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study compared two pain medicines given during scheduled C-sections: a spinal injection of morphine or an IV dose of methadone. The goal was to see which approach reduced the need for extra painkillers in the first two days after delivery. Thirty women participated, and researchers also measured their overall recovery quality using a simple questionnaire.
