NCT ID NCT06862271

First seen May 29, 2026 · Last updated May 29, 2026

Summary

This study looked at 120 boys aged 4 months to 12 years having urogenital surgery. It compared two ways to manage pain and reduce confusion (delirium) after surgery: an opioid-free caudal block versus a dorsal penile nerve block plus fentanyl (an opioid). The goal was to see which method works better for pain control and preventing post-surgery delirium.
