NCT ID NCT07153003
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looks at whether taking two pain medicines (tramadol and oxycodone) together works better than taking oxycodone alone after knee or hip replacement surgery. The goal is to see if the combination reduces the total amount of opioids needed and lowers side effects. About 560 adults having their first knee or hip replacement will take part. The results could help improve pain management and recovery after joint surgery.
