First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a specific nerve block (serratus posterior superior intercostal plane block) can lower pain and the need for painkillers after cervical disc herniation surgery. About 40 adults having this neck surgery will be split into groups to compare the new block, another block, and standard care. The goal is to find a better way to manage pain after surgery.
