New study seeks best pain relief for young boys after surgery

Summary

This study compares two types of pain blocks—sacral erector spinae plane block and dorsal penile nerve block—in 70 boys aged 1-7 years having hypospadias surgery. The goal is to see which block provides better pain relief after the operation. Pain scores and side effects will be tracked for 24 hours.
