First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study compares two different nerve blocks (retrosuperior costotransverse ligament block and erector spinae block) to see which one better controls pain and reduces the need for strong painkillers after laparoscopic gallbladder removal. About 80 adults aged 21-64 having elective surgery will take part. The goal is to find a safer, more effective way to manage pain with fewer opioids.
