First seen May 18, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026

Summary

This study compares two types of nerve blocks (rectus sheath block and transversus abdominis plane block) to see which provides better pain relief after laparoscopic weight-loss surgery. About 96 adults aged 20-60 will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two blocks. The goal is to reduce pain and the need for opioid painkillers after surgery.
