NCT ID NCT07166250

First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026

Summary

This study compares two types of nerve blocks—quadratus lumborum block and retrolaminar block—for pain after lumbar disc surgery. About 84 adults having elective back surgery will receive one of the two blocks before surgery. Researchers will measure pain scores, opioid use, and patient satisfaction to see which block works better.
