Patients wait years for Life-Threatening disease diagnosis
NCT ID NCT06998329
Summary
This study aims to understand why it takes so long for patients in Brazil to get diagnosed with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and other rare diseases. Researchers will review medical records of 139 adults diagnosed within the last five years to track their journey from first symptoms to final diagnosis. The goal is to identify where delays happen and find ways to help patients get diagnosed and treated sooner.
