NCT ID NCT07538817
First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tests a noninvasive device called the Oxygen Reserve Index (ORI) to help doctors give the right amount of oxygen during laparoscopic kidney surgery. The goal is to prevent both too little oxygen (hypoxia) and too much oxygen (hyperoxia), which can cause complications. About 48 adults having elective laparoscopic nephrectomy will be monitored with ORI alongside standard pulse oximetry. The study aims to see if ORI can improve oxygen management and patient safety.
