Scientists probe oxidative stress in two forms of diabetes

NCT ID NCT07434154

First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This observational study will measure oxidative stress and antioxidant levels in 75 people with type 1 diabetes and 75 with LADA (a slow-progressing form of autoimmune diabetes). Researchers will collect blood samples and compare markers like d-ROMs, BAP, and HbA1c to see if oxidative stress differs between the two conditions. The goal is to better understand the biology of these diseases, not to test a new treatment.
