Summary

This study tests whether people who use opioids can be trained as peer educators to teach their friends and family how to prevent overdoses. Researchers will enroll 600 adults in Baltimore who use opioids and ask them to recruit at least one person who does not use drugs. The goal is to see if this approach reduces overdoses and drug use, and lowers stigma.
