New study freezes ovarian tissue to save fertility for young cancer patients

Summary

This study looks at a way to help people under 40 who might lose their ability to have children due to cancer or autoimmune disease treatments. Participants have one ovary removed and frozen for future use. The goal is to improve the freezing and maturing process so the tissue can be used later to try to have a baby.
