NCT ID NCT06915025
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This phase 3 trial tests whether adding a gene therapy called IMNN-001 (given into the abdomen) to standard chemotherapy helps people with advanced ovarian, fallopian tube, or peritoneal cancer live longer. About 500 newly diagnosed patients will be randomly assigned to receive either chemo alone or chemo plus IMNN-001. The study is currently recruiting.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
IMNN-001 (a gene therapy given into the abdomen)
What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a new treatment option that extends survival for people with advanced ovarian cancer.
What could go wrong
This is a large phase 3 trial, but the added therapy may not improve outcomes over chemo alone and could cause more side effects.
