Scientists search for hidden clues in ovarian cancer patients

NCT ID NCT06240598

Summary

This study aims to understand why some ovarian cancers become resistant to initial treatment. Researchers will examine 10 patients with advanced ovarian cancer who undergo a follow-up surgical procedure after completing chemotherapy. The study will compare outcomes between patients who still have tiny amounts of cancer cells versus those who don't, and assess the safety of this follow-up procedure.
