Could a simple uterine wash catch ovarian cancer before it spreads?

Summary
This study is developing a test to find ovarian cancer earlier by looking at DNA from a uterine wash and proteins in the blood. About 250 women scheduled for surgery or at high genetic risk will provide samples before their procedure. Researchers will check how well these markers separate cancer cases from benign conditions, with the hope of catching more cancers early and reducing deaths.
