Scientists hunt for genetic clues to ovarian cancer drug resistance

NCT ID NCT03010124

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study collects tumor, fluid, blood, and other samples from 350 ovarian cancer patients to find biological markers that predict how the disease will respond to treatment. Researchers will analyze genetic changes before and after therapy to understand why some cancers become resistant to chemotherapy. The goal is to improve future treatment decisions, not to test a new therapy.
