NCT ID NCT07265518

First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looks at whether low-risk pregnant women who need labor induction can safely go home after a balloon catheter is placed, instead of staying in the hospital. About 258 women will be randomly assigned to either go home or stay in the hospital. The main goal is to see if going home changes how long labor takes, and also to check satisfaction and safety for both mother and baby.
