NCT ID NCT05666310
First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looks at whether common osteoporosis medications also improve muscle health in adults aged 65 and older who have both osteoporosis and low muscle mass (sarcopenia). Researchers will measure changes in muscle mass, strength, walking speed, and bone density over time. The goal is to better understand the link between bone and muscle health, which could lead to better treatments for frailty in older adults.
