Hands-On treatment vs. night brace: which eases carpal tunnel better?

NCT ID NCT07432750

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study compares two treatments for mild to moderate carpal tunnel syndrome: osteopathic manipulation (hands-on therapy) and wearing a wrist brace at night. Ten adults diagnosed with carpal tunnel will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups. Researchers will use MRI scans to measure changes in the carpal tunnel and questionnaires to track symptoms and quality of life over 10 weeks.
