New combo therapy aims to stall lung cancer progression

Summary
This study tests whether adding ramucirumab to the standard drug osimertinib can help people with a specific type of advanced lung cancer (EGFR-mutant) live longer without their disease getting worse. About 160 adults with advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer that has not been treated with a tyrosine kinase inhibitor will receive either the combination or osimertinib alone. The main goal is to see if the combination delays cancer progression.
