This study tests a new therapy called oscillation and lung expansion (OLE) in 60 adults on ventilators who have collapsed lungs (atelectasis). OLE combines continuous pressure, high-frequency vibrations, and medication mist to clear mucus and reopen lung tissue. Researchers will compare it to standard chest wall vibration therapy using CT scans and electrical impedance tomography to see which works better.
