Summary
This study tested whether a daily pill called oral semaglutide could help adults with overweight or obesity lose weight. Over 300 participants took either the real pill or a placebo (a dummy pill) for 64 weeks. Researchers measured how much weight people lost and whether it improved their physical function and quality of life.
