Summary
This study aimed to understand how oral health issues like gum disease, cavities, and tooth loss affect the daily life and well-being of people with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis. Researchers compared survey responses from 138 adults with IBD to people without IBD. The goal was to identify factors that influence a person's oral health-related quality of life.
