First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This very early study will give 8 adults with recurrent glioblastoma an oral gallium maltolate pill before surgery. Researchers will measure how much gallium gets into the tumor tissue compared to untreated samples. The goal is to see if the drug can reach the brain, not to treat the disease yet.
