Blood test could guide chemo for oral cancer survivors

Summary
This study is testing a new, personalized treatment plan for people with oral cancer who have a high risk of the cancer returning. After initial surgery and radiation/chemotherapy, a blood test will check for leftover cancer cells. If the test is positive, patients will receive low-dose oral chemotherapy for up to a year to try to prevent the cancer from coming back. The goal is to see if using this blood test to guide treatment can improve survival.
