First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding motivational interviewing to contingency management (rewards for healthy behaviors) helps men who have sex with men and use methamphetamine start or restart HIV prevention (PrEP) or treatment (ART). Four hundred participants will receive either contingency management alone or with motivational interviewing, all via telehealth. The main goal is to see if more men fill a PrEP or ART prescription within 12 months.
