Study seeks perfect painkiller dose for big abdominal incisions

Summary
This study aims to find the best dose of epidural pain medicine given in regular bursts after open abdominal surgery. About 60 adults having large abdominal incisions will receive different volumes of the medicine to see which dose provides the best pain relief with fewest side effects. The results will help improve recovery and comfort after surgery.
