Knee replacement patients may get better pain relief with bolus method

Summary

This study tests two methods of delivering pain medicine through an epidural after total knee replacement. One method gives small, steady doses, while the other gives programmed bursts. The goal is to see which approach provides better pain control and helps patients recover faster. About 90 adults having elective knee surgery will take part.
