Summary

This study looks at whether a patient navigation program called NavSTAR can help people with opioid use disorder start treatment after a hospital stay and avoid going back to the hospital. Researchers will first test the program with 32 people at four hospitals in Philadelphia, then expand to 720 participants. The goal is to learn how to make the program work across a whole health system and keep it running long-term.
