Summary
This study tested a culturally tailored program called TACUNA plus a Wellness Circle to prevent opioid and other drug misuse among American Indian and Alaska Native young adults aged 18-25 in California. Participants were compared to those who received an opioid education workshop. The goal was to see if the culturally centered approach reduces drug use and builds healthier social networks over 12 months.
