Study probes if Opioid-Free anesthesia calms kids after surgery
NCT ID NCT07191652
Summary
This study looks back at medical records to see if using anesthesia without opioids leads to less confusion and agitation in children after ear, nose, and throat surgeries. It will compare about 120 children who received standard opioid-based anesthesia to those who received opioid-free anesthesia. The goal is to understand which approach might help kids wake up calmer and recover better after their operations.
