New program aims to help pregnant women with opioid addiction keep their families together

NCT ID NCT06956352

Summary

This study is testing a coordinated care program designed to help pregnant and postpartum women with opioid addiction in rural, low-resource areas. The program aims to help women start and stay on addiction medication, reduce overdose risk, and lower the chance of children being placed in foster care. Researchers will work with three community health sites in Northwest Pennsylvania to see if this adapted support model improves health and family outcomes.
