Summary

This study tested an online parenting program called Family Check-Up Online for rural families where a parent may misuse opioids or other substances. About 356 parents of young children (18 months to 5 years) took part. The program aimed to improve parenting skills, reduce stress and depression, and prevent future substance use through coaching and support delivered via telehealth.
