First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This pilot study tests whether a personalized online occupational therapy program is feasible and helpful for adults with scleroderma. Twenty-four participants in Spain will either receive eight online therapy sessions over four weeks plus usual care, or usual care alone. The study focuses on whether people can complete the program and if it improves daily functioning and quality of life.

What this could lead to
If it works, this could provide a convenient, home-based way to help people with scleroderma manage daily tasks and improve their quality of life.
What could go wrong
This is a very small pilot study (24 people) testing feasibility, not effectiveness. The intervention is short (4 weeks) and may not show lasting benefits or work for everyone.
