One-Week radiation shows promise for breast cancer treatment

Summary
This study tests a one-week radiation therapy for breast cancer patients who need treatment to the chest or breast and nearby lymph nodes. About 197 participants will receive this shorter radiation course and be followed for 5 years to check for side effects, cancer return, and quality of life. The goal is to see if a shorter treatment is safe and effective.
