Can a simple lozenge stop shivering during C-Section?

NCT ID NCT07511491

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether an ondansetron lozenge works as well as an IV injection to prevent shivering in women having a cesarean section. About 90 women will receive either the lozenge or the IV before surgery. The goal is to find a simpler, more comfortable way to reduce shivering during and after the procedure.
