New hope for kids with devastating brain tumors: first human trial of promising drug begins

Summary

This is a first-in-human study to find the safest dose of a new drug called ONC206 for children and young adults with aggressive brain tumors, including a type called diffuse midline glioma (DMG). The study will test the drug alone or in combination with radiation therapy. The main goal is to see how much of the drug the body can handle and to learn more about how it works in the body.
