Osteopathic tricks may boost lymph node staining in breast cancer surgery
NCT ID NCT07269860
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM) to standard breast massage helps more dye and radioactive tracer reach the lymph nodes during breast cancer surgery. 27 women having breast-conserving surgery and sentinel lymph node biopsy took part. The goal was to see if OMM could improve staging accuracy, but the study was small and completed, so results are limited.
