NCT ID NCT07643428
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether taking omega-3 supplements before surgery can change the types of fats found in breast tumors. About 35 adults with early-stage breast cancer will take the supplement for 4 to 28 weeks while also receiving standard cancer treatments. The goal is to see if omega-3s increase healthy fats in the tumor, which might help the body respond better to treatment.
