Race to revive: Three-Drug cocktail tested to save more lives after sudden cardiac arrest

NCT ID NCT06203847

Summary

This study is testing if a combination of three drugs (epinephrine, vasopressin, and methylprednisolone) works better than the current standard single drug (epinephrine) for treating adults who suffer a sudden cardiac arrest outside the hospital. The goal is to get the heart beating on its own again and improve long-term survival. Paramedics in Taipei will give the treatments during emergency calls to see which approach helps more patients survive.
