First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a role-playing training program could help midwifery students better recognize obstetric violence—mistreatment during childbirth. 126 final-year students from two universities took part; half received the training and half did not. Researchers measured changes in students' awareness of obstetric violence and their perceptions of caring behaviors using questionnaires before and after the training.
