Can a simple obstacle course reveal hidden links between fatigue and walking trouble in MS?

NCT ID NCT07736482

First seen Jul 30, 2026 · Last updated Jul 31, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This observational study looks at how people with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) perform when crossing obstacles while also doing a mental task. Researchers want to see if this dual-task challenge is related to levels of fatigue and disability. Thirty participants will have their walking tested under four conditions: normal walking, walking while counting backward, crossing an obstacle, and crossing an obstacle while counting backward. The goal is to better understand how increased task complexity affects mobility and daily function in RRMS.
