Summary
This study tests a drug called obinutuzumab against a standard treatment (tacrolimus) in 142 adults with primary membranous nephropathy, a kidney disease that spills protein into urine. The goal is to see if obinutuzumab can bring the disease into complete remission by week 104, meaning no more protein leakage. Participants must have severe protein loss and decent kidney function to join. This is not a cure—patients may still need monitoring—but it aims to control the disease better.
