This study looked at 115 patients to see if inflammation in belly fat (white adipose tissue) causes confusion or memory problems after surgery. Researchers measured thinking skills and inflammation levels before and after hip or heart surgery. The goal was to understand why obese patients may have more post-operative brain fog.
