NCT ID NCT06768827
Summary
This study aims to understand how gut bacteria process food and how that process is different in young people with obesity and insulin resistance. Researchers will measure how the body breaks down fat and makes sugar after participants ingest a special carbohydrate. The goal is to gather knowledge that could inform future strategies to address obesity-related health problems.
