New study tests better obesity care training for low-income patients

Summary

This study looks at two different training programs for doctors and health workers in community health centers that serve people on Medicaid. The goal is to see which training helps patients lose more weight and get better access to obesity care. About 6,200 patients and their providers will take part, and researchers will track weight changes and how often patients use the recommended services.
